Spicy Noodles Ingredients:

  • 150g noodles (thin rice noodles or pad thai noodles work well)
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped  
  • 1/2 red or green bell pepper, sliced
  • 5 button mushrooms, sliced 
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 carrot, julienned or grated 
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 3-4 tbsp The Original hot sauce, or to taste
  • 1⁄4 tsp naagin chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Step by step guide: How to make spicy noodles.

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package directions until just shy of done. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
  1. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet or wok on medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute. 
  1. Add the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and green onion. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender and crisp.
